But now no more as WhatsApp has rolled out a brand feature which allows you to hide your media files in your phone’s gallery.

Hide WhatsApp Media Files in Android Phones

  1. Open WhatsApp app, look for the three-dot menu icon on the top right corner and tap on it.

  2. You will see a list of options, now tap on Settings.

  3. Further, tap on the ‘Chats’

  4. Now uncheck the box- ‘Show media in the gallery.’

Voila! You just got rid of all your photos and videos from your phone’s gallery.

Hide WhatsApp Media Files in iPhone:

  1. Open WhatsApp app, go to Settings, and then go to ‘Chats.’

  2. Now turn off the toggle on the ‘Save to Camera Roll’ option.

Butt: Already downloaded media files will still remain in your phone gallery.
